NEMR has been approved by the FCC as a provider for the Affordable Connectivity Program to help lower the cost of high speed internet.

The Affordable Connectivity Program is a government program intended to make broadband services and connected internet devices affordable for low-income households.

Benefits

The Affordable Connectivity Program provides:

  • Up to $30/month discount for broadband service;
  • Up to $75/month discount for households on qualifying Tribal lands;
  • One-time discount of up to $100 for a laptop, desktop computer, or tablet purchased through a participating provider if the household contributes more than $10 but less than $50 toward the purchase price.

Who is Eligible

A household is eligible if one member household meets at least one of the low-income criteria, including but not limited to, qualifying for the Lifeline program or free and reduced-price school lunch programs.

Lifeline

You may also be eligible for discounted service through the Federal Lifeline Program.  Lifeline is a government benefit program under which eligible low-income customers may qualify for a discount for residential local telephone service OR standalone internet at your primary residence.
