NEMR Youth Opportunities
FRS Youth Tour
The FRS Youth Tour is a leadership opportunity sponsored by NEMR and the Foundation for Rural Service that gives local high school students the chance to travel to Washington, D.C. Through this all-expenses-paid experience, students explore our nation’s capital, meet national leaders, and learn about government, leadership, and career opportunities. The program is designed to help students grow as leaders while representing their rural communities on a national level.
NEMR Scholarships
NEMR proudly offers scholarships to graduating seniors within our service area to support their continued education. These scholarships help students pursue college, trade school, or other career training opportunities. By investing in local students, NEMR is committed to strengthening our communities and supporting the next generation as they work toward their goals.
Camp Connect
Camp Connect is a hands-on summer leadership camp sponsored by NEMR for students interested in technology, teamwork, and career exploration. Campers participate in interactive activities, learn about broadband and communications, and develop valuable leadership skills while connecting with other students from rural communities. Camp Connect inspires students to explore future career paths and build confidence in a fun and engaging environment.
