Safety Apparel – All workers within highway right of way shall wear approved ANSI/ISEA107 Performance Class 2 or 3 safety apparel and more specifically as follows: Daytime Worker. During daytime activities, workers shall wear a hard hat, safety glasses, a Performance Class 3 top OR a Performance Class 2 top, and safety footwear. (According to this article from MoDot, the footwear does not indicate any specific type of footwear required.) If you are in need of any PPE to meet the requirements of this safety policy, please let management know so they can get you the equipment that you need. Δ
